2 WAYS

We get into dangerous environment every day. You may think that Estonia is situated in a peaceful place of the world, as we have no volcanoes or big floods. We put up well with both cold and warm weather, we know how to protect our bodies from extreme cold and heat, but no matter what we do, we cannot avoid germs and bacteria.

We eat vitamines and work out to keep our bodies maximally ready for serious battles. Sometimes it is not enough and people get sick. Estonian scientists are looking for ways to help our protective cells. One of those is “Hellus” from the dairy product series. In the “Fighting germs” workshop we talk about why do we have to add bacterium into dairy products and how does it help to fight deseases.

Our project partners from Andalusia got to know our workshop in Tartu in september 2009 at the Science Festival. In may 2010 there will The Sevilla Science Festival, where Spaniards must show AHHAA workshop in the Spanish way.
