Science center AHHAA invites you to new springly interactive exhibition „Ahhaa, now into forest!“
An exhibition is open from april 17th to june 22nd 2010 in Tartu Lõunakeskus.
In one part of this exhibition you can find out more about Estonian forestry and what would happen if we stopped managing the forests. You also see, what are some usual mistakes made in Estonian forests in past two decades and how to manage forests so, that it remains the same or even better to the next generations.
Second part of the exhibition is equally fun and educational. There you can act with exhibits made by AHHAA people. Why do birds need different beaks? What is an igloo like? Which bubbles move up faster in the silicone – smaller or bigger? What is a tornado like? Which light bulbs use less electricity – LED or casual glow lamp? Find answers to these questions in the fun and entertaining way!
Among the forest theme exhibits there are also other kind of activities. Do you know how balloons look like while they are breaking? In AHHAA you can be on the picture with a breaking balloon. You can also compete with each other and see, who is the fastest, who has the best memory and who is the best in forest planting game.
Are you up to flying a helicopter? Here you can fly with a helicopter simulator, where you are actually moving upside down if not steering carefully enough. Purpose of the helicopter simulators game is learning to fly and rescuing fishermen from the sea. One flight lasts for 5 minutes and costs 40.- or 25.- if you have a ticket to the current exhibition.
Here in AHHAA center there are activities and discoveries for the whole family and different kind of groups for more than an hour. Come and get smarter by having some fun!
