AHHAA introduces nanotechnology
Imagine that windows no longer need washing, and that mirrors, spectacles or windscreens never get foggy, and that 10 000 times more data could be put on a CD-sized disc, and that a path made of tiles in your summer home looks like new also years later even without taking care of it, and that you get to know all your illnesses by just giving three drops of blood to the doctor.

All these things are possible thanks to nanotechnology and the development of nanomaterials!
Starting from March, you can get acquainted with nanotechnology in the nano-room of the AHHAA centre, as part of the NanoToTouch project! You get to know how small is small and why smaller is better than bigger. We show and explain nanotechnology applications and people who work in that field, as well as how it all affects our homes and world economy.
During two weekends in that month, of which we inform you beforehand on our web page, Tartu University physicists present nanotechnology development with the help of practical experiments, interesting facts and complex machinery.

Come and get to know nanotechnology in AHHAA Tallinn!
This project is financed by European Commission among the Seventh Framework programme.
You can read more about the project and co-partners on the website www.ecsite.eu/?cat=12255.
