To vaccinate or not? That is the question!
On 24th and 31st of May 2010, from 10.00 to 16.00, AHHAA is organizing creative and educational day for pregnant women and families with small children. Theme of the days is "To vaccinate or not? That is the question!".
Leader of the project is Science Centre AHHAA, partners are Tartu Health Care College (Tartu Tervishoiu Kõrgkool), University of Tartu (Tartu Ülikool) and Cinema Bus Foundation (MTÜ Kinobuss).
Through various activities, together we try to discuss the necessity of vaccinating. Should we vaccinate our children and ourselves or not?
AHHAA is going to carry out Science Cafe, where a scientist from University of Tartu will talk about common vaccines in Estonia. Program also involves immunology themed workshop and very popular scientistic game DECIDE.
Day ends with making action-cartoons which describe life of viruses and microbes.
All these cartoons will be uploaded to AHHAA and Cinema Bus websites.
Tartu Health Care College students who study babysitting, will take good care of educational days visitors children. Students who study nursing, help us create the scientistic game DECIDE about vaccinating.
