54 years after the first manned flight to the Moon and 50 years after the last person left the Lunar surface, humanity has set sights on returning to the Moon.
NASA's Artemis program in cooperation with the European Space Agency and private companies aims to return people to the Moon in 2024–2025. On November 16th 2022, Artemis I – an unmanned testflight of the new SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft – was launched. The new rocket will be the most powerful launch vehicle in the world.

In our special planetarium programs about the Artemis program we will take a closer look of the rockets and spacecraft that will return humans to the Moon and go over the scientific aims of the missions: to learn more about our natural satellite and prepare the way for more ambitious spaceflights in the future.
