Plasma Ball
In the middle of this gas-filled sphere is an electrode that can be powered when connected to the electric grid. Thanks to the gases, the numerous colourful plasma filaments are constantly spreading out from the centre to the surface of the dome. Put your hand on the sphere (or close to it) and you can change the course of these electrical charges.

Backwards Scooter
It takes quite a bit of practice to learn how to ride a bicycle. You might think it would be easier to ride a scooter instead. But AHHAA’s backwards scooter is on a completely different level – one that could prove difficult for even the most skilled of cyclists. When you turn the handlebar in one direction, the front wheel of the scooter turns to the exact opposite. This exhibit will show you how skilled you really are!

Three different letters have been broken down to smaller pieces and it is your task to put them back together. You can test your skills with the letters T, H and M.

3D Tic-Tac-Toe
Everyone has played this game on a piece of paper, but taking on your opponent is completely different in 3D! This exhibit consists of 3 x 9 coloured balls (red, green and yellow). 2-3 people can play at time.
The aim of the game is similar to a regular tic-tac-toe: get three balls of the same colour in a row. What’s different, however, is that in AHHAA’s version of tic-tac-toe, you can create the rows in multiple different ways, using either one or all of the levels: from top to bottom, right to left or diagonally.

Wave Machine
Waves can move in water, in the air, and in the ground. We’re probably most familiar with the waves in water, as this is where they’re the most visible. However, when looking at a lake or sea, we usually don’t understand where the waves actually come from. This wave machine can easily show you how it happens. The machine is filled with mysterious fluids that move in slow motion, making it especially easy to observe the formation of the waves.
