Rules for Groups

Selleks, et saaksime gruppidele keskusekülastuse võimalikult sujuvaks ja meeldivaks muuta, on teaduskeskus AHHAA kehtestanud mõningad reeglid, millega grupikülastajad, gruppide saatjad ja reisikorraldajad arvestama peavad. Täname gruppe mõistva suhtumise eest!

To make the visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible for groups, AHHAA Science Centre has established a few rules that group visitors, group chaperones and tour operators should take into account. Thank you for your understanding!

Payment and tickets
  • There are two group discounts:
    • 1) Tourist group discount: the whole group is entitled to a group discount.
    • 2) Discount for school groups: for every 10 students, one teacher is admitted free of charge.
NB! 1 teacher for every 10 pupils free of charge is only for school groups. The maximum number of parents per school group is 5. If there are more than 5 parents in a group, the group will be considered a tourist group and will be entitled to the tourist group discount: one chaperone free of charge per group.

  • Only the person from the group (e.g. the guide or teacher) will buy the tickets at the ticket office, and this person must be waiting in the queue. The group will wait for the escort in the lobby.
  • At the ticket office, the accompanying person must indicate the exact number of members in the group (including the number of school children). If the number of people does not match, the difference will be paid by the chaperone.
  • When paying at the checkout, the chaperone must pay for the whole group. The money will be collected from the group earlier.
  • If there are families among the group members who wish to buy a family ticket instead of a group ticket, they may do so. In this case, those who buy a family ticket will lose the right to visit the planetarium and the workshop with the group.
  • When distributing tickets, the accompanying person must ensure that all members of his/her group receive a ticket and that any casual visitors do not join their group. In the event of a shortage of tickets, the accompanying person must pay for the missing tickets.
  • People who are under the influence of alcohol will not be admitted to AHHAA. In case of doubt, AHHAA reserves the right not to admit people to the centre. Ticket money will not be refunded.
Planetarium and workshops
  • At the checkout, the accompanying person must indicate the exact number of visitors to the planetarium and/or workshop. If the number of people does not match, the difference will be paid by the chaperone.
  • If a group has booked more than one planetarium session or workshop, which requires people to be divided into groups, then smaller groups must be formed before the visit to AHHAA according to the number of sessions and/or workshops to be organised and inform the ticket desk of the exact number of people in each smaller group. The same rule applies if the planetarium or workshop is reserved for only a certain number of group members - i.e. by the time the chaperone comes to buy the tickets for the group, it must already be clear how many people are coming and at what times.
  • A specific number of people will be admitted to the planetarium, as indicated on the ticket. The planetarist reserves the right not to admit more people to the planetarium than the number stated on the ticket.
  • The number of persons admitted to the planetarium may not be changed unless confirmed by AHHAA. If changes occur, the sender must contact the ticket desk.
  • The chaperone must ensure that his/her group arrives at the planetarium and/or workshop on time and that the number of participants is correct. If a group member is late, he/she cannot join another group. It is the responsibility of the sender if group members are late for the planetarium/workshop or if other visitors join the group.
  • The tour operator is obliged to explain to the tourist group at the time of booking that, in the event of being late to the planetarium, the money will not be refunded.
  • When selling tickets, the tourist company must inform customers that children under the age of 5 are not admitted to the planetarium. Children under 5 years of age may only visit the planetarium with the agreement of the whole group. If a child is disturbing other visitors in the planetarium, the accompanying person is responsible.
Changes or cancellations
  • If a group wishes to cancel or change a booking, it must give at least 7 days notice before the visit!
  • If you wish to change or cancel your reservation, please contact us by e-mail at the following address: tellimus@ahhaa.ee or telephone 515 6766 (Mon-Fri 9-17).
